Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Francesca Murgia. I was born and raised in Chico, and now I am raising my own family here. It is such a charming place to live and is full of so many warm and loving families. I'm thankful that photography has provided me the opportunity to meet and interact with such wonderful people and their families in Chico and its surrounding communities.
As an artist I have intertwined my two passions in life: motherhood and photography. My heart sings at the breathtaking sight of motherhood; the love, vulnerability, and devotion. This season in life is short lived and deserves to be documented honestly.

The norms are pushed and nothing but fun is had. I photograph raw and authentic moments. There is no heavy posing and rather laughter and closeness.
I will guide you through the entire process, with creating beautiful photographs AND displaying timeless artwork.
After your first contact, we will set up an in-person portrait consultation.
During your portrait consultation, we will meet together and collaborate ideas for your photographic session. We will discuss how you would like your images displayed, if you are not sure that is okay. I will walk you through several options and allow you to feel and handle some of the most gorgeous sample art. At booking, all you need is signed contract and a retainer of 50% to secure your date. Sessions start at $500. The remainder of the session fee will be due at the start time of your session.
With the information collected from your consultation, we will then be able planning the details to document those moments that you don't want to ever forget. I offer wardrobe guidance with all my sessions. You will have access to a styling tool customized to you. You are also welcomed to my ever expanding Client Closet. I am here to take the stress out of planning for the session.
After your session I will continue creating our beautiful art, by optimizing and professional retouching.
One of my favorite parts is your reveal session. This is when your gorgeous images will be revealed. You will be able to choose and order the memories that you want displayed in your home. Clients usually choose an album and a few wall art pieces. Next, the products will be sent out to my professional print lab.
Once I receive your products, I will review every detail and make sure they are up to my standards. Then they will be repackaged and delivered to your home, for you to enjoy indefinitely.
