The raw moments of motherhood, that is what brought Allison to select me as her motherhood photographer. I am so thankful when my client’s want to document and treasure the authentic moments. When documenting your family, I do not just want to take pretty pictures. I want them to be beautiful photos that tell your story. When you look back at these photos, I want you to remember the feelings you had during our session. I want you to remember the little baby kicks that were once in your tummy, the soft little inhale-exhale pattern of the fresh newborn that lay on your chest, and the sweetest little laughs from your squishy baby. These photos will be mementos of what life was like when they were so itty bitty and mama and dada could fit them snug on their chests. Allison knew she wanted these memories of Baby C’s first year to be well documented. As a mother she knew she too wanted photos of herself with her baby. Because remember far too often mothers are not well documented with their children, we are doing all the photographing. Allison ensured to have these memories. Here we are only 1/4 way through the first year, I will update this blog as time goes on. We all know it will go way too fast.
